Shame. I had high hopes for this method. It seemed more practical than the rather haphazard Order of Creation, and potentially more accurate than the Order of Destruction.

Ho hum. Back to the drawing board.

Yes, I completed the course (around eleven and a half hours); yes, I still hurt (sciatica / pirifomis syndrome, caused by Morton's toes); yes, the weather was foul (the first two peaks were cloud covered, we finally got a view from the third).

On 28th June, in memory of Fiona McMullen and in aid of the Arthur Rank Hospice I will be attempting the Three Peaks of Yorkshire challenge: Pen-y-ghent (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres 2,372 feet), 24.5 miles in under 12 hours.
